Word Parts: The Roots of Vocabulary lists many links to activities to study Greek and Latin roots. For each root, there is a list of words that are to be written, defined, illustrated, and applied. (1.Write the word. 2. Define it. 3. Draw it. 4. Answer this question.) This would be great for making flashcards! After the questions, there are quiz questions that could be used to reinforce the vocabulary. I'd use the questions as prompts for reinforcent. It's Greek to Me! is an interactive game on the Scholastic website. It offers two levels and there are rounds on each level. It's good for exposing students to the influence the Greek vocabulary has had on our language.
